The Haywards Heath Burglary


Edward Isaacs, 29, chair-bottomer, was charged with having (along with others) on the night of Tuesday, the 26th July last, at Hayward’s Heath, in the parish of Cuckfield, burglarously entered the dwelling-house of Elizabeth Kennard, and stolen two gold watches, three silver watches, etc., the property of Elizabeth Kennard and others; and one pair of breeches, and one double-barrelled gun, the property of Richard Pannett.

The jury returned a verdict of Guilty
