HOLIDAY CROWDS SEE GRAVE

Cuckfield Churchyard with its sweeping outlook across the Sussex Downs has been the scene of an unusual pilgrimage this week with hundreds of people during the last three days visiting the grave of Sir Harry Preston

So numerous have been cars that it has been necessary to put a constable on traffic duty.

Many of the visitors are holidaymakers who have made a detour in order to visit the spot and see the wreaths
