CUCKFIELD.
Our fair was held last Thursday. For several years past it has been in declining state, and had almost become as one of the things that were.
About the middle of the day a few head of cattle were driven to the top of the town, the usual place of the beast fair; and a stall was erected opposite the Talbot, the only attraction for the youngsters, who usually depend on having some amusement on such days. Cuckfield fair was formerly considerable importance
