1927: We are on patrol

1950 BSA M21 AA Combo

Do you remember th AA box approaching Anstye from Cuckfield on the left?

Now that Summer Time has ended, will you note that the hours of duty for Automobile Association Road Patrols for day service will be from 9 a.m. to lighting-up time (one hour after sunset); also that Road Patrols in charge of Night Rond Service Outfits will commence duty at lighting-up time and remain on the roads until J2 midnight ?

Have you heard that the R.A.C. is prepared to offer assistance to motorcyclists who may wish to fit some additional silencing device, and will gladly' advise them as to the type most suitable for any particular machine, and whether it is likely to have any detrimental effect on the engine?
